Keyotte facts and prices
Keyotte removes the background from a video shot without a green screen: you click the subject to keep, and get that subject back on flat green, with the sound. Here are the facts, no fluff.
What the tool does
- Online tool: upload an MP4, MOV, MKV or WEBM video of up to 10 minutes, processed at up to 1080p.
- Click the person or object to keep; Remove mode takes out an extra area. Everyone else in the shot stays out.
- The subject is tracked frame by frame (SAM 2.1) and its edges refined frame by frame, hair included (BiRefNet), with temporal smoothing.
- Free preview: 3 previews of 10 seconds per video, no account. Fix the frame where tracking slips with a click.
- Export: MP4 (H.264) up to 1080p, subject on flat green #00B140, original sound kept, no watermark.
- You then key out the green in CapCut, Premiere Pro (Ultra Key), DaVinci Resolve (3D Keyer, Delta Keyer), Final Cut, and so on.
- Once a video is paid for, new previews and renders after a fix are free.
- Rendering runs on GPU servers: allow a few minutes for a one-minute video; you can close the page.
- Guest session with no account; an account (email or Google) lets you find your videos and receipts.
- Videos deleted automatically 7 days after upload, deletable sooner; never used to train a model; no facial recognition.

Limits
- No transparent export: no ProRes 4444, no WebM with alpha, no PNG sequence. You get transparency in your editing app.
- No GIF export.
- No background blur and no image background inside Keyotte: you add the background in your editor.
- No videos over 10 minutes; anything above 1080p is processed at 1080p.
- No mobile app (the site works in your phone's browser), no API, no live processing.
- Pay per video, no subscription. Refunds can be requested from your account within 14 days, explaining the problem.
- The cutout is automatic and can have flaws (people crossing, motion blur, transparent objects): the free preview is there to check them.
Languages
Interface in French. Videos in any spoken language are accepted: the original sound is kept as is.
